Asset Protection Lead

Key Accountabilities

  • Administration of Card Access System
  • Facilitates AP new hire orientation and issuance of card access keys
  • Active participation in the facility’s Leadership Team’s efforts to provide a safe and secure work environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Investigations into Internal Theft.
  • Partnership with HR/Leadership Team as required on WC issues, safety concerns, workplace substance abuse concerns, workplace violence, and other sensitive matters.
  • Ensure physical security of facility assets and associates
  • Delivery of expected shrink results in the Facility through management of LP Resources
  • Perform quarterly Operational Control Audit
  • Report audit findings to DC Business Partners
  • Re-audit non-compliant operational controls as necessary
  • When applicable supervise all Security personnel associated with the facility
  • Manage/monitor Burglar/Fire Alarm systems including call lists
  • Facilitate Monthly and Quarterly Safety Meetings as well as drills, evacuations, etc.
  • Lead safety team in review of accidents for root cause
  • Conducts opening/closing surveillances
  • Education and Experience

    • At least 2 years of similar experience in a warehouse environment, including supervisory experience of contract guards or personnel
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Overall knowledge of investigative processes
    • Wicklander Zulawski certification preferred

    Business Knowledge and Critical Skills

    • Maintain good working relationships with all cross functional business partners, staff and contract security representatives
    • Keep close communications with Corporate and Field Asset Protection Team
    • Good written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, ie. Microsoft Office, Excel
    • Extensive working knowledge of Burglar/Fire/Card Access and CCTV Systems

    HR Coordinator

    Qualifications

    Job Responsibilities

    • Manage the worker’s compensation process for Distribution Center including filing incident reports, maintaining compliance of federal and state policies, and act as liaison between insurance company and injured worker.
    • Complete employment/wage verifications, medical support notices, answer unemployment applications, etc.
    • Process all full-time employment status, position, and pay rate changes for the field and home office in Kronos.
    • Submit full-time employment termination information to payroll for final paycheck processing.
    • Assist with the new hire orientation and onboarding process for the Distribution Center.
    • Assist with benefits administration and leave of absence coordination.
    • Assist and coordinate Distribution Center events.
    • Manage all employee files, ensuring filing is kept up to date and accurate
    • Manage I-9 filing, including tracking documentation renewals
    • Assist with recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, processing background checks and coordinating candidate care.

    • Coordinate monthly and quarterly Perfect Attendance process.

    Seasonal General Warehouse II

    Qualifications

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pound boxes
    • Ability to stand, stoop, lift and perform manual dexterity

    Job Responsibilities

    • Support the shipping department and receiving departments as needed
    • Load and unload shipments safely and move product to assigned locations or containers. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.

    Director of Transportation

    The Transportation Director develops business tools and solutions for Five Below’s Transportation function in an effort to improve the store delivery process through the following areas: Inbound, Outbound and Imports.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience within a Supply Chain capacity specifically Distribution and/or Transportation
    • Experience in capacity planning and analysis
    • BA/BS preferred
    • Proven competencies in Microsoft Office products specifically MS Excel.
    • Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management and/or Retail Allocations systems is a plus
    • Proven experience in maintaining quality, service and client relationships
