What’s the difference between a planner and a journal or diary?
The primary difference between a planner or organizer and a journal or diary is their format. Journals and diaries are typically plain, lined notebooks without any dates or special categories. Planners and organizers, on the other hand, come with a pre-made structure for you to fill in. Find dates, special sections for to-do lists, pre-filled holidays and more in planners and organizers from Five Below.

What sizes of journals and sketchbooks are available?
Shop journals and sketchbooks in a range of sizes! Find everything from large sketchbooks with enough space for gorgeous creations to mini, pocket-sized sketchbooks for doodling on the go. You’ll also find mini journals small enough to fit in your purse, journals the size of a full sheet of paper, and tons of options in between!

Do you sell journals and sketchbooks with popular characters?
Of course! Five Below is your fandom HQ. Find journals, notebooks, planners, diaries and more featuring characters from:
Sanrio: Find Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Kuromi, My Melody and more.
Disney: Shop Jack Skellington notebooks, Stitch journals, and other Disney characters.
Video games: Whether you’re into Minecraft, Sonic, or other great games, you’ll love our selection.

How can I start journaling every day?
If you’d like to start journaling everyday, the best thing you can do is set yourself a reminder. Make an alert for the same time each day to sit down and journal. Just before bed is a great time to get down your thoughts from the day, as is the first thing in the morning. Experts suggest it takes 66 days to build a habit. 2 months from now, you’ll be a journaling pro!
